Beauty Tea
It is rumored that Coca-Cola and L'Oreal will be launching a new ready-to-drink tea, called Lumae, that will be sold in the beauty department at Saks Fifth Avenue. I am sure they will find a gorgeous celebrity model for this "beauty drink." This isn't the first "beauty drink" but it will certainly be one of the most high profile. Borba has a skin water and Timeless Secret already makes a beauty tea that is available at Fred Segal and Blissworld.com.
If you don't like tea, then you can always try yogurt. In France you can eat Danone Essensis, a cosmetic yogurt, for a more radiant complexion.
You can do beauty yoga at the New York Health & Racquet Club. It is the Revita-Yoga class which is, "Restorative yoga combined with anti-aging exercises for the body and face. The Yoga Face will come out in August for those of you can't make it to the class, but are interested in learning more.
Laura Geller Cruise
March 25, 2007 - The Laura Geller Cruise set sail for the Eastern Caribbean from Florida. The 7 night cruise included all meals on board, entertainment, a private makeup seminar hosted by Laura Geller, private cocktail party, and a gift bag full of Laura Geller favorites. Laura Geller promised the seminar would be an opportunity to create a unique style that is both graceful and natural looking. They had scheduled stops in Nassau, Bahamas, St Thomas and St Maarten. A beauty- full vacation indeed! They are sailing the high seas in beauty as I write this and are already busy planning the next beauty cruise!http://www.lauragellercruise.com/
My Beauty Camp
Young girls deserve a beauty vacation too, or at least, My Beauty Camp thinks so. Starting June 11, girls ages 10 to 16 can spend the week learning about health and beauty. There are classes on healthy eating & fitness, etiquette, style & grace, skincare, makeup, hair care, goal setting & money matters, and fashion.

It certainly sounds more fun than Girl Scout Camp, but it won't be without its critics. It brings to mind a recent news story. There is an Armani ad (below) that has become quite controversial in Madrid. The ad has been criticized because the makeup and revealing outfits are seen by some to be inappropriate for young girls. Interestingly, Madrid was also one of the first cities to take a stand on "too-skinny" models.
Is the pressure to be beautiful beginning too early? Are these products something you would use? Please tell us what you think in the comments.

really interesting! I like the new product stuff, too! It is good that it lists where you can buy the products.
Like the Barbie loves Mac product. Very striking image.
Not too sure about My Beauty Camp. Perhaps 10 is too young but say 13-16 age range would be better. Care by Stella McCartney should prove popular being natural and organic, for those of us who are allergic to some beauty products.
Very interesting Rach! This is going to be great to get info about new products from the expert! Keep up the good work!
It's really annoying that these ads are even reaching billboards/magazines etc. Do 10 year olds in bikini tops really need to be advertised? It's disturbing. At that age, education should matter over beauty.
I have to agree that you've really got a great spectrum of all kinds of interesting new products out. I really like the ones that are affordable to my pocket book. It's good to see that at least some companies are not all about greed but are putting out a little towards someone or something else. I've my son and daughter this too.
